It certainly has been awhile since I have had the time to sit down and write a blog post (Hello Busy Season), and if you live in Virginia then you know the sun has not been out much at all in the last few weeks. Blair had booked one of my beach mini sessions, but when that got rained out we made the change to take the photos on her property, and we got the BEST golden hour after nothing but storming all day prior. If you know Blair you know that the day of her engagement photos, we took the boat out to a private beach and we got stormed on & I am talking like pouring rain, lightning, thunder, wind gusts. OUT OF NOWHERE. Then fast forward to their wedding day, It stormed and poured for a majority of the day. I was determined to make sure that for her maternity session she got the best golden light. The day of her session, we had some pretty rough thunder and rain… part of me was like maybe we should reschedule, but I am SO thankful we did not do that. The rain stopped, the dark clouds went away and out came the sun. I can not wait to meet their sweet baby & Blair truly is glowing in all of these photos. I feel so very lucky to have the most beautiful clients/friends.
